Golden Gate Park

Trees in Golden Gate Park.  Doesn't it look like a forest, rather than a city park?

3 photos near the Japanese Garden in Golden Gate Park.

The main gate to the Japanese gardens.

Shakespeare Garden.  Unfortunately, nothing is in bloom right now.
Musical concourse near the California Academy of Sciences.

Entrance to the California Academy of Sciences.  It houses the Morrison Planetarium and the Steinhart Aquarium, along with other exhibits

Tutankhamun is only on display at the De Young Museum for the remainder of this month..

I took this photo standing on a stairway next to the De Young Museum.  The "living roof", atop the Academy of Sciences building can be seen in the background.

The Academy of Sciences building beyond the trees from a different vantage point.

Old buildings located in the Presidio, a former military base in San Francisco.
