Nisei Week in Little Tokyo

I went on another road trip this past weekend.  I had never been to Little Tokyo in Los Angeles before, so I decided to head down that way for 70th Annual Nisei Week.  Like The Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival in San Francisco each sprinig, Nisei Week is a cultural festival to celebrate and recognize the Japanese-American community as well as share Japanese culture with the local communities.
Some of the buildings in Little Tokyo.
The Japanese-American National Museum.
I thought it was interesting to watch this artist drawing a portrait from a photograph.
Some of the Ikebana displays.
Handmade Japanese dolls.
Tanabata Festival
Visiting Cherry Blossom Queen and her court from Seattle and Honolulu.
