I went to two different places and took photos. The first was Japantown.
Promotional poster for the upcoming Cherry Blossom Festival. This year's theme is "Honoring Our Past and Future" to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the Kanrin Maru, the first official Japanese ship to arrive in San Francisco. The arrival of the Kanrin Maru started relations between the two nations and the roots of the Japanese American community in the United States. Sakura lights outside a cafe / bakery in Japantown.

Of course, I had to have a slice of my favorite, strawberry shortcake.
An enormous residence in a wealthy part of San Francisco.
The part of this residence that was most interesting to me were these cherry trees.
This cute Easter display was also hanging on the outer gate.
